Jane has established herself as a highly successful landscape artist based in the Wairarapa. Her paintings reflect the open nature of the landscape and the play of light and shadow on local landforms. Alongside painting, she has become well known as an art tutor, teaching workshops in both acrylics and watercolours.
Jane also has a strong passion for Architecture having completed a degree (B. ARCH) in 1990.The house she designed and presently lives in, North East of Masterton on the banks of the Ruamahunga river, is based on sustainable design principles in a NZ vernacular style.
